The continuation of this series-Kerry continues on the powerful moment Jesus healed a leper. There was a human need that was met through divine intervention. Jesus through compassion was able to heal, teach and touch the lives of so many people. We are also called to feel that same compassion towards one another and reach out to our community.

Today Kerry touches upon spiritual agility. To have spiritual agility we need to have a firm foundation in Christ. Paul also did not compare himself to others as he emphasised that by the grace of God, we are who we are if we can look to the grace of God. Spiritual agility is sticking to what God wants us to do even when the physical reality says the opposite.

Elizabeth Tapp / Ian Tapp
Elizabeth Tapp introduced the message of the cross is the power of God and we shouldn't be surprised when non Christians think Bible is foolishness . To people who are saved the cross is powerful and has transformed their lives. Paul was not ashamed of Gospel .There is power not in the preacher but the message.

In this message we continue on how much the Corinthian Church was bringing too much of the world inside it. This message emphasises that correction without connection leads to rejection. Before we correct others we need to have a relationship with them. We need to see each other through God's eyes. We need to truly believe in God's Grace.

Kerry Murray / David Dickson
David Dickson spoke about how division has no place in God's Kingdom/Church. Diversity is important and was a common feature in Corinth in Paul's time. David touches on how we treat others is a reflection of how individuals see Christ. The world sees the message of the gospel as foolishness. The word preaches that you need to earn your way to salvation but the Gospel says you just need to believe and receive Salvation.

Planning your Visit

A Warm Welcome

Where and When

We meet in person at 10.30am and online through Youtube from around 11am when we stream the teaching. Normally, for your first visit, we have recommended arriving 10-15 minutes early to ensure you get a parking space and find somewhere to sit before the service begins. When you arrive, you should be greeted by someone on our Welcome Team and given a Welcome Pack with information about Transformation Community Church.

We normally serve tea, coffee and biscuits from at the end of the service as it's a great way to meet people, or simply take time to find your bearings.

Plan your journey:

Open Google Maps

Accessibility: There is wheelchair access, and a sound loop for anyone who needs it. Please let one of the Welcome Team know on your arrival and they will help you to get set up. There are disabled toilets in the main foyer.

Our Service

Normally our service begins with a warm welcome from one of our team members and then lots of engaging activities during the next 1 hour to 1 ½ hours  that the service lasts.

We often have lots of engagement and involvement from all ages in the church and all our different cultures. Sometimes a person might pray out loud or read a small passage from the bible and one of our leaders will then give a message that is based on the bible and one that we can apply to our everyday life.

What about my kids?

Usually we have involve all the church family in an interactive programme as part of our intergenerational worship. The kids group activities vary depending on the age but usually there is a friendly welcome, bible stories, testimonies, praying, music, craft, drama, fun games and free play.

On some occasions the children leave the main building to do activities such as play games, do crafts, sing songs and learn about Jesus but the majority of the time we worship all together.

We also have a midweek club for Primary School aged children which runs fortnightly called "Cosmic Comets" and relevant Children's workers are DBS checked.

We know how hard it can be for you and your kids to be part of a new group, so please do contact us if you have any questions about our children's work.

Getting Connected

Small Groups

While Sundays are a great way to meet new people, it is often in smaller gatherings that you can really get to know someone. Being part of one of our small groups allows you to make new friends, share together and support each other. We have a variety of groups that meet throughout the week, some afternoons and some evenings.  We have multiple small groups that operate across the week so feel free to contact us and  we can put you in touch with a small group leader who will be more than happy to invite you along to their group.

Serving and Volunteering

If you want to get involved in the life of the church and help us make Sundays run smoothly, you can sign up to serve on a team. We are also very supportive of our local community by working alongside other agencies and projects in order to express the love of God in a practical way across the area.

Other Ministries

We also run the following ministries:

  • Men's Ministries
  • Women's Ministries
  • Wellbeing Group
  • Schools Work
  • Be Connected Support Group
